I was so excited to have my layout selected to be in the new Archiver's Idea Book! The theme was doing a layout featuring "10" of something.

My daughter, Noelle, never used the ceiling fan in her bedroom, so we agreed to replace it with a chandelier. I found this gorgeous one at the antique mall and we are both happy with the way it looks in her room!

We recently put in wood floors upstairs to match the ones we did downstairs last year. They turned out beautiful and I was inspired to re-vamp my daughter's bedroom. I changed the lamps, throw pillows,  accessories, top of the amoire and desk chair. I moved the vanity mirror from the vanity to the dresser, making it a desk--more useful when she visits. The chair and lampshades have French script on them and match although I bought them at two different places! I also found this rug at Tuesday morning which pulled the whole room together. The room is elegant and inviting and she was excited to see it when she came down from N.Y.!

I was so excited to find this vintage Chanel bottle on the internet and ordered it right away! I filled it with tiny buttons I use for scrapbooking and put it on my antique vanity tray in my studio.

These diapers cake are popular for baby showers. You bend the diapers into circles and secure with ribbon, making 3 tiers, then embellish however you want. I put paper doilys around the base cake board and hot-glued the flowers on. I made a separate topper on a piece of cardstock so it can be removed, with smaller flowers and plastic blocks. It makes a great centerpiece and later the mom can take it apart and use the diapers. It was a big hit at the shower I went to this past weekend.
